The Public Ministry of the State of Acre (MPAC) has since called for a police investigation by the state Civil Police to examine the criminal act of disseminating intimate videos without the consent of those involved.

The other man in the videos, a guidance counselor, has denied any involvement in the leak. Both men have faced exclusion, verbal attacks, and threats since the videos surfaced.

The scandal has sent shockwaves through the Christian community in Acre. In at least six leaked videos, the pastor is seen engaging in consensual s*xual acts with the guidance counselor and other individuals. The explicit content has ignited a firestorm of reactions on social media.

Many have pointed out the irony of a religious leader, who preaches about morality and sin, being involved in such a scandal. “I think it is very well done to expose hypocritical people, who preach from the pulpit about immorality and sin, but who do not live any of this. The church is full of this type of believer,” one user observed. Another added, “A very big and shiny ring showing how much he loves his wife.”
