Jay Slater’s devastated mum has left a heartbreaking tribute near to the Tenerife ravine where her son's body was tragically found, saying: "I’m so sorry we never found you".
Blue and white flowers, a bottle of water and a teddy with a Union Jack jumper were left at the makeshift memorial in the mountainous region of Masca.
Poignant handwritten notes from the Oswaldtwistle teenager's mum Debbie Duncan, dad Warren Slater, and elder brother Zak were placed on the dirt track, the Mirror reports.
Debbie penned on a card attached to the flowers: "To my beautiful boy, I am so sorry we never found you. I miss you so much. You will be forever young and forever missed. Mum xxx".
